Great work days in the Imani over the weekend. In addition to getting more seedlings out of our greenhouse into the planting beds in Imani II, we cleaned out the fish ponds in Imani I. Discovering sadly no fish. This is the first time in three years when all of the fish died over the winter. We had about 20 goldfish in the ponds varying in size from about 3/4 inch to about 3 inches. This kind of makes the tough winter real. Many thanks to Tania Martinez for her help.

I hope to clean out the big water storage tank in Imani I this week.  That would be first ever cleaning in the about six years we've had that tank.  I intend to add a fine mesh strainer to the intake to keep out mosquitoes.
